Lean_in offers movement training rooted in contemporary dance, floorwork, contact improvisation and embodied practice.
Whether you are stepping into your first class or deepening an established practice, our training pathways are designed to support physical skill, creative exploration and authentic connection.
Lean_in Floorwork
A contemporary floorwork practice exploring efficiency, momentum, flow and freedom of movement.
Through guided exercises, technical sequences and creative exploration, participants develop strength, coordination and confidence moving in and out of the floor.
Contemporary into Contact
Exploring the meeting point between contemporary movement training and contact improvisation.
Developing the skills needed to move fluidly between personal expression, shared weight and collaborative movement.
Intensives & Professional Development
Throughout the year Lean_in offers intensive training opportunities for dancers, movers and movement practitioners.
These include weekend trainings, residencies, festival programmes and professional development opportunities.
Lean_in Contact
An exploration of listening, touch, weight-sharing and spontaneous composition through contact improvisation.
Classes support participants in developing trust, responsiveness and creative movement dialogue with others.
Body Care
Movement is not only about training harder.
Through self-massage, partner bodywork, recovery practices and embodied awareness, we explore how to care for ourselves and each other as movers.
